HeliVert

HeliVert is a joint venture between Russian Helicopters and Leonardo Helicopters, created as part of Russian Helicopters’ strategy to integrate itself into the system of international cooperation. HeliVert produces the medium commercial AW139 designed by AgustaWestland, which is in demand around the world, including in Russia and other CIS countries for corporate and VIP transportation.

The HeliVert production facilities are based at the Russian Helicopters innovation centre, the National Helicopter-Building Centre, in the town of Tomilino near Moscow.

The factory covers an area of 40,000 sq m, is fitted with the very latest technical equipment and produces helicopters using cutting-edge technologies.

Leonardo Helicopters, part of Leonardo concern, is a key partner of Russian Helicopters. Leonardo Helicopters is a leading helicopter-building company and produces a broad range of models.

Alexander Kuznetsov
Alexander Kuznetsov Chief Executive Officer

Alexander Kuznetsov was director of trade and economic projects at Aviaexport from 1987-2008, and subsequently served as director of joint projects with AgustaWestland at Russian Helicopters in 2008 and 2009. Since 2009 Alexander Kuznetsov has been CEO of HeliVert.

Alexander Kuznetsov holds a candidate degree in economics, and has been awarded the Russian Medal of Honour and the Italy Star medal.
